ELECTRICAL, INSTRUMENTATION & AUTOMATION

Remote I/O & Marshalling Systems

Collects field signals near process areas and connects them to DCS, PLC or SIS with controlled segregation and diagnostics.

Remote I/O & Marshalling Systems

FUNCTION & CONTROL METHOD

Conventional marshalling, electronic marshalling or remote I/O is selected from cable distances, segregation, redundancy, hazardous area and maintenance philosophy.

MAIN HARDWARE & SYSTEM BOUNDARY

Remote I/O panels, marshalling cabinets, intrinsic-safety barriers/isolators, fieldbus interfaces, fiber/copper network, UPS feeds and environmental control.

CRITICAL DESIGN INPUTS

Approved P&IDs and control philosophy, process ranges and alarm/trip limits, hazardous-area classification, environmental conditions, I/O and load lists, availability/redundancy target, package interfaces, communication protocols, cybersecurity and client standards.

ENGINEERING DELIVERABLES

System architecture, instrument/equipment index, datasheets, I/O list, hook-ups, loop and wiring diagrams, cabinet/panel drawings, cable schedule, network drawings, control narratives, cause-and-effect, logic diagrams, graphics, test procedures and as-built backups.

FUNCTIONAL SAFETY, RELIABILITY & CYBERSECURITY

SIS and BPCS segregation, redundant communications/power, cabinet heat load, EMC, grounding, surge protection and network failure response are verified.

TESTING, COMMISSIONING & APPLICATIONS

Distributed refinery units, tank farms, utilities, modular skids and large process plants. Cabinet FAT, point-to-point and channel testing are completed.

CODES, STANDARDS & QUALITY BASIS

IEC 61131/61511/60079, ISA, IEC 62443 and selected EN/DIN/GOST panel standards.

CONTRACTUAL CODE BASIS

IEC 61131/61511/60079, ISA, IEC 62443 and selected EN/DIN/GOST panel standards.
