ELECTRICAL & AUTOMATION

SIS & Emergency Shutdown (ESD)

Independent protection layers engineered from identified process hazards and required integrity.

SIS & Emergency Shutdown (ESD)

PROCESS & OPERATING PHILOSOPHY

Trip detection, voting, shutdown logic, final-element action and reset management. The operating sequence, recycle paths, start-up/shutdown cases and normal/turndown behavior are defined before equipment finalization.

MAIN EQUIPMENT & PACKAGE LIMITS

Safety PLC, certified I/O, transmitters, solenoids, shutdown valves and panels. Materials, design margins, maintainability, isolation, access, lifting and spare philosophy are coordinated with the approved operating cases.

CRITICAL DESIGN INPUTS

Plant load/I/O lists, voltage and network philosophy, hazardous-area classification, availability targets, control narratives, package interfaces and cybersecurity requirements.

ENGINEERING DELIVERABLES

SRS, SIL verification, cause/effect, logic diagrams, proof-test procedures and validation. The package also includes line/equipment lists, relief and utility summaries, layouts or 3D interfaces, vendor-document requirements, inspection plans and commissioning inputs as applicable.

AUTOMATION, SAFETY & HSE

Protection/selectivity, redundancy, fail-safe states, alarm management, segregation, earthing, functional-safety validation, FAT/SAT and controlled software backups.

APPLICATIONS & PERFORMANCE BASIS

High-hazard process units, heaters, storage and loading. Capacity, product quality, consumption and emissions commitments are confirmed only after the representative feed and project Design Basis are approved.

CODES, STANDARDS & QUALITY BASIS

IEC 61508/61511 and project functional-safety lifecycle. The contractual code basis is selected by destination and client specification. ASME/API/TEMA, EN/DIN and GOST/EAC requirements are not mixed without an approved code-equivalency and authority review.

CONTRACTUAL CODE BASIS

IEC 61508/61511 and project functional-safety lifecycle.
