UTILITIES & OFFSITES

Integrated Utility Systems

Utility generation and distribution balanced against normal, start-up and emergency demand.

Integrated Utility Systems

PROCESS & OPERATING PHILOSOPHY

Steam, condensate, cooling, air, nitrogen, water, fuel, flare and electrical interfaces. The operating sequence, recycle paths, start-up/shutdown cases and normal/turndown behavior are defined before equipment finalization.

MAIN EQUIPMENT & PACKAGE LIMITS

Boilers/package units, cooling towers, compressors, treatment skids, headers and tanks. Materials, design margins, maintainability, isolation, access, lifting and spare philosophy are coordinated with the approved operating cases.

CRITICAL DESIGN INPUTS

Normal/start-up/emergency demand, source quality, ambient conditions, operating philosophy, redundancy, storage autonomy and process-consumer priorities.

ENGINEERING DELIVERABLES

Utility balance, consumers list, network hydraulics, PFD/P&ID and operating philosophy. The package also includes line/equipment lists, relief and utility summaries, layouts or 3D interfaces, vendor-document requirements, inspection plans and commissioning inputs as applicable.

AUTOMATION, SAFETY & HSE

Duty/standby philosophy, alarms and trips, relief/vent/drain routing, hazardous-area requirements, emergency response and maintainable isolation.

APPLICATIONS & PERFORMANCE BASIS

All process plants and industrial complexes. Capacity, product quality, consumption and emissions commitments are confirmed only after the representative feed and project Design Basis are approved.

CODES, STANDARDS & QUALITY BASIS

ASME, API, NFPA, IEC and local utility regulations. The contractual code basis is selected by destination and client specification. ASME/API/TEMA, EN/DIN and GOST/EAC requirements are not mixed without an approved code-equivalency and authority review.

CONTRACTUAL CODE BASIS

ASME, API, NFPA, IEC and local utility regulations.
